Lê Giang (b. 1988, Hanoi) earns a BA in Art Education from Vietnam Fine Art University and an MA in Fine Art at University of the Arts London. Le Giang’s point of departure is the question of the role of human in nature and social structure. Intrigued by an Utopia that have none of human, her practice attempts to research and depict how nature would react to the disappearance of human when it happens, what legacy human would have left behind, and what life form would then take place. Giang explores various media in her practice, especially transparent materials such as glass and plexiglass.

Giang’s most recent exhibitions included: Above Under Sky (group, 2014), Manzi Art Space Hanoi; Reincarnate (solo, 2013), Conflictable Cube, Irabaki, Japan; Bend over Shirle (group, 2012), Beaconsfield gallery, London, UK; A Machine For Living In (group, 2012), Hana Barry gallery, London, UK.
