Biography
Ana Mejia Macmaster, a colombian born artist, holds a BFA from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Medellin, and an MFA in Traditional Chinese Painting, Beijing Central Institute of Fine Arts, China. Her work has been influenced by her travels and living in other countries like China and Canada.
She is a professor at the Faculty of Visual Arts, Universidad de Antioquia, Medellin.
She has won several contests and grants like the V Beca de Creación de Medellín, 1st contest to intervene pedestrian bridges, Medellín and the International Residencies at the Banff Center, Canada and San-Art in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
