To our community,

2022 is a milestone for Sàn Art. It marks 15 years as a venue, convener, and laboratory for contemporary art in HCMC. Since our opening, we have produced 110+ exhibitions, projects such as the artist-residencies Sàn Art Laboratory (2012-2015) and Conscious Realities (2013-2016), as well as a number of publications and events, including conversations and workshops with writers, artists, thinkers and cultural workers.

Sàn Art has been a home for artists built entirely by our generous allies, supporters, and collaborators. As a non-profit space, every grant, donation, and sale provides sustenance to exhibitions, our artist residency programmes, and public events serving the local community and beyond.

The last two years have been difficult for the entire artistic community. We lost spaces, collectors, visitors, and grants all of us rely on to survive. With this in mind, we are hosting an online fundraiser, where we have pieces generously donated by some of the wonderful artists we have had the chance to work with over the years available for purchase. The proceeds will go towards supporting the artists and will help sustain the vitality of Sàn Art and its work for the years to come. 

We are overjoyed to have been in existence for as long as 15 years, and are able to commemorate this tremendous achievement. Thank you, dear supporters, for helping make it possible.
