The relationship between mind, body and the physical environment has been a constant topic inside the studios of Le Phi Long, Lai Thi Dieu Ha and Nguyen Van Du in Session 4 of ‘San Art Laboratory’.

Born in 1986, Du started painting since he was 3. With a bachelor degree in Oil Painting from Fine Arts University of HCMC, he is a painter who ceaselessly learns and experiments new media to create more profound content for his paintings. He always proves himself to be serious and responsible in focusing on his artworks. Du especially cares and have vivid ideas about history, politics, social problems and all that form Vietnamese society. Art is his attitude about society: criticizing and satirical.

Sàn Art gives warm welcome to the artists-in-residence of the 4th session of ‘Sàn Art Laboratory’: Le Phi Long (Hue-HCMC), Lai Dieu Ha (Ha Noi) and Nguyen Van Du (Ho Chi Minh City) who began their 6 month residency on the 6th December, 2013.
After initial research and experiment, the artists are ready to reveal their first explorations to public in an OPEN STUDIO on January 25th, 5.30pm at Sàn Art Laboratory, 40/18 Pham Viet Chanh, Binh Thanh District.
