Tháng 9 này độc giả tại Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh, Huế và Hà Nội sẽ tham gia cùng cộng đồng phim video nghệ thuật toàn cầu khi họ tham gia vào buổi chiếu đầu tiên của Project 35 [dự án 35], triển lãm quốc tế về các tác phẩm phim video được chiếu ở 19 nước khắp nơi trên thế giới từ năm 2010 và năm 2011. Dự án phim video này đã được khởi xướng bởi Independent Curators International [các curator độc lập quốc tế], tại New York và được Sàn Art thực hiện tại Việt Nam – Không gian mỹ thuật độc lập và phòng đọc hoạt động tích cực nhất tại Việt Nam.

Project 35 đã được trình chiếu tại Albania, Mexico, Thụy Điển và Mỹ và sẽ được tiếp tục mở rộng ở các nước khác hàng tuần tại nhiều địa điểm hơn và nhiều chương mới hơn trong loạt các tác phẩm mới.

Thứ Năm, ngày 23 tháng 9, lần đầu trong bốn lần chiếu ở Việt Nam sẽ đồng thời diễn ra tại 3 thành phố trên cả nước, với lời cảm ơn tới ‘mê phim’ tại thành phố Hồ Chí Minh; ‘New Space Art’ tại Huế và ‘Doclab’ tại Hà Nội là những nơi đồng tổ chức sự kiện này. Khán giả ở 3 thành phố sẽ được kết nối thông qua link video trực tuyến.

PROJECT 35 kỷ niệm 35 năm của Independent Curators International (ICI); ICI kết nối các curator, nghệ sĩ và viện mới được biết tới cũng như những người đã khẳng định được mình tiếp xúc với các liên kết quốc tế. Project 35, gồm 35 curators được mời để tuyển chọn một phim video của một nghệ sĩ mà họ nghĩ nó quan trọng đối với độc giả mỹ thuật đương đại khắp nơi trên thế giới.
