Phòng đọc Sàn Art là nơi hiện đang được phát triển về lưu trữ và thu thập các nguồn tư liệu, hình ảnh về các thực hành nghệ thuật đương đại. Phòng đọc mở cửa miễn phí cho người quan tâm. Phòng đọc hiện có các sách về lịch sử nghệ thuật quốc tế, ca-ta-lô các triển lãm, sách giới thiệu nghệ sĩ, tạp chí về nghệ thuật đương đại từ khắp nơi trên thế giới. Vào cửa miễn phí và phòng đọc có trang bị wifi. Bạn có thể ngồi đọc sách và uống cà phê trong phòng đọc Sàn Art. Tuy bạn không thể mượng sách từ phòng đọc về nhà nhưng bạn được mượn sách trong vòng vài giờ để photocopy những gì bạn thích. Tại Việt Nam, nghệ thuật đương đại chưa được giảng dạy như một chương trình chính thức tại các trường đại học cũng như vẫn chưa có các thư viện công cộng dành cho nghệ thuật đương đại, lưu trữ các sách về các ý tưởng văn hoá mang tính đương đại và quốc tế. Vì thế nhằm giải quyết sự thiếu hụt này, phòng đọc SÀn Art kêu gọi sự hỗ trợ từ các nhà xuất bản, bảo tàng, phòng trưng bày và các nghệ sĩ. San Art's Reading Room is a growing archive of visual and textual resources on contemporary art practice that is open to the visiting public. It contains books on international art history, exhibition catalogs, artist monographs, art magazines and journals on contemporary art from around the world. Entrance is free with WIFI available. San Art's Reading Room is not a lending library, but you are welcome to sit, have a coffee, read and photocopy what you like! In Vietnam, contemporary art is not taught as a university fine art curricula, nor do its public libraries hold books on international contemporary ideas of culture. San Art's Reading Room thus aims to address this lack, seeking donation and free subscription from publishers, museums, galleries and artists internationally. In addition to the exhibition rooms, we have dedicated a section of our space for the creation of a “reading room.” This reading room will be a small library of books and magazines that hopes to fill a gap in the art educational system in Vietnam, which is dangerously challenged by the lack of reference materials and information about post-modern and contemporary art. Although we do offer internet access in our space, we feel that books offer a more tangible point of reference for artists who are beginning to understand current, contemporary issues and practices, both aesthetically and conceptually.
Sàn Art’s reading room hopes to provide local artists access to art books, exhibition catalogs, artist monographs, and art magazines on contemporary art from around the world. We hope that you will see the importance of this project and will join us in our efforts to make the reading room a success by donating publications from organization’s programs and exhibitions.

'12 Contemporary Artists Of Vietnam' is the first bilingual publication to focus on the pioneers of contemporary art in Vietnam today. Produced and edited by Dao Mai Trang in Hanoi, with translation assistance from the Cultural Development and Exchange Fund, the aim of this book is to introduce readers, both inside and outside the country, to a broader knowledge of Vietnamese art, while also encouraging artists to challenge themselves with their respective practices.
