Zoe Butt is currently Artistic Director of the The Factory Contemporary Arts Centre in Ho Chi Minh City. She has held curatorial and directorial posts at Sàn Art in Ho Chi Minh City, Long March Project in Beijing and Queensland Art Gallery in Brisbane where she assisted in the development of the Asia-Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art (APT). Zoe is one of the curators of the Sharjah Biennial 2019. Recent select projects include Poetic Amnesia: Phan Thao Nguyen (2017), The Factory; Dislocate: Bui Cong Khanh (2016), The Factory; Conscious Realities (2013-16), Sàn Art; Disrupting Choreographies (2013), Carre d’Art, France; Poetic Politic (2012), Kadist Art Foundation, San Francisco, USA; and A Transformative Disguise: Le Hoang Bich Phuong (2012) at Japan Foundation, Hanoi and travelling. Zoe is a member of the Asian Art Council of the Solomon R. Guggenheim, New York; Asia 21 Leaders of the Asia Society, New York; and in 2015 became a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum.
