Sàn Art recognizes that the continuation of dialogue, between curators, critics, historians, teachers and artists, is important for the development and evolution of contemporary art in both production and theoretical areas. Access to information and the people involved in the international contemporary art scene is crucial in nurturing a critical platform of experimentation and exchange of ideas within artistic communities.

Sàn Art is thus pleased to host an educational program co-organized by the Vietnam Foundation for the Arts. Our aim is to introduce and increase contemporary art discussion within Vietnam. We hope to encourage Vietnamese artists to contribute to international dialogue surrounding the context of contemporary art production in this country via lecture, presentation, panel discussion, workshop and residency (funds permitting)

Activities are held at Sàn Art and various other art organizations and institutions in Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi (dependent on funds and flexibility of visiting guests).
