Nguyễn Phương Thảo đặt nhiều tấm vải lụa trắng và đỏ trong sự đan xen thả xuống từ trần nhà. Nơi đây màu sắc và chất liệu đưa ra khuôn mẫu của người phụ nữ (ví dụ Lụa thì mỏng manh, như tâm hồn của người con gái), nơi những sợi chỉ đỏ như lửa nói về sự quyết tâm để thấy xa hơn những chấp nhận về hy sinh và trách nhiệm của người phụ nữ trong cuộc sống.

Nguyen Phuong Thao places reams of white and red silk in an interwoven embrace from the ceiling. Here color and material refers to stereotypes of womanhood (ie. Silk as fragile, like the female spirit), where a fire-like thread speaks of a determination to see beyond the assumptions of sacrifice and responsibility in a woman’s life.
