Than Sok is an artist and performer from Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Fascinated by spiritual ritual, its structures and meanings, wary of how contemporary social attitude is changing understandings of what it means to ‘believe’, Than Sok will unpack his artistic practice that encompasses installation, drawing, performance, video and sculpture. He will also share his experiences of his past month residency in Ho Chi Minh City, to finally conclude his presentation with a special performance! Than Sok

Than Sok (born 1984, Takeo) investigates religious and spiritual beliefs, materials and rituals through sculpture, installation, video and performance.
